​​​Armin Maurer combines decades of management experience at global technology leaders such as Hewlett-Packard (HP) with in-depth expertise in leading complex innovation projects.

​

As founder and visionary leader of biokyb life science AG, he drives forward the think tank’s interdisciplinary research – ranging from medical biocybernetics (life sciences) and the development of autonomous, dynamically stabilised mechatronic systems (robotics) to asymmetric logistics solutions (defence).

 

His work in the field of sensor-based navigation and assistive technologies has already been recognised by the state of Baden-Württemberg with a research grant for engineering excellence.

 

He is responsible for the overall strategic direction and for translating disruptive concepts such as PHTHORA from vision into market-ready, scalable architectures.

In his role as an experienced patent attorney, he manages the company’s continuously growing portfolio of intellectual property rights.
